Chevrolet Venture Headlights: Find Your Replacement Venture Headlight Assembly
Family-oriented adventures and travels need a sizeable automobile that automakers tried to solve with the birth of bigger classes of automobiles like vans, pickup trucks, and vans. There are also some that comes in between that wish to help the riding and driving public choose the best for their lifestyle and number. That is what the Chevrolet tried to do with the 1996 Chevrolet Venture launch. This goes between the markets of vans and pickup trucks. The Venture simply has the right number of seats for passengers that are less than what the full-length van can accommodate and more than what the pickup truck can house. The Chevrolet Venture is supposed to be replacement for the radically styled Lumina APV and in the United States it is sold under the Oldsmobile Silhouette and Pontiac Trans Sport, which then progressively became the Pontiac Montana in 1999. In 2002, a Warner Brothers edition of Venture was released with bugs Bunny leaning on its logo. This edition was equipped with a DVD entertainment system as a novelty feature. In 2001, Venture’s exterior was refreshed and reconstructed with all-wheel drive. Its production however ceased in 2005 generally because of the poor rating it got from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety that resulted to negative reviews and below average sales. The Chevrolet Venture should have been a click in its prospected market because of its relentlessly improved performance parts and devices. From its GM 3.4 L LA1 V6 engine that rated with as much as 180hp or 134 kW, it was slightly redesigned in 2000 to produce an additional 5 hp more or 4 kW. All Ventures, the short and long bases were equipped with 4-speed automatic transmission. What failed it is its safety measures that when offset frontal tested, the passenger compartment front end buckled and crumpled upward together with a general upward steering wheel movement that forces the dummy to move upwards and one feet snap off. Such indicates a real injury or paralyze a person in real life. Given the beauteous styling and craftsmanship of the Chevrolet Venture in its U-body, one can truly say that it is enough to suffice an owner’s desire to own a family vehicle. But negative reviews of its poor safety precautionary measures had shot it hard that leads to slowed sales and resulted to cease its production but opened the doors to another innovation which is the Chevrolet Uplander.
