The purpose of the 'bread crumbs' feature was to allow the driers to have a record of the paths that they took so what they could retrace their route at any time. Another feature of this updated navigation system is the voice dial system which allowed the driver to set their destination in the navigation system through a voice command while they are driving. The Lexus RX350 refresh of the Lexus RX line of cars revived interest in the car and sales of the Lexis RX car line has continued to be highly impressive. The Lexus RX350 features essentially the same mechanics as the RX330. The biggest change is the engine displacement making the engine a 3.5 litre V6 engine. Engine output is rated at 270 hp. Transmission for the vehicle is still a 5 speed automatic and the vehicle is still available as either a front wheel drive or an all wheel drive vehicle similar to the RX330. Standard equipment includes ABS, an antiskid system, traction control, curtain side airbags, driver knee airbag and front side airbags. Optional features include leather upholstery, adaptive cruise control, heated front seats, DD entertainment, multipanel sunroof and height adjustable suspensions with load leveling features. Acceleration is quite strong for the Lexus RX350. The automatic transmission also changes gears quite smoothly and moves through the gears quite efficiently. Suspension is spot on with excellent bump dampening performance. Handling is solid though the AWD performs much better than the front wheel drive. Steering is also responsive and the Lexus RX350 manages to keep an agile profile on the road. One of the best mid size luxury crossover SUVs, the Lexus RX350 belongs at the top of its class. The Lexus RX350 also benefits from the class leading, red carpet customer service of Lexus and the record of the car maker for releasing durable and reliable vehicles into the car markets.
