General Motors should be proud of one of the most unique models it has manufactured- the Chevrolet Nova II has been put into record as the rescuer of the “not so good looking” Chevrolet Corvair, which has faced lots of criticisms and rejections. From then on, the market for Chevy runs successfully and consistently. Chevrolet Nova II or Chevy II has not just captured the enthusiasts’ hearts with its nice bodywork but also the low prices and ideal performance. The sale of the four and six-cylinder Novas was initially good in fact, in 1963, Novas were made available with Chevy's hot Super Sport package. This has even provided good sales that year. In 1968, the name Nova has finally got concrete publicity as the entire lineup run under the Chevrolet Nova banner. During that time, Chevrolet re-engineered its compact car with better style. Such re-engineering has resulted to a small car, making Nova known as Chevrolet's smallest car, since 1969. With such cute ride, buyers are amazed by the 375-horsepower 396-cubic-inch V-8 engine. In early 1970s however, another model called Chevrolet Vega took the title from Nova as Chevy's smallest offering. It was in 1979 model year when Nova’s fame started to fall. Nonetheless, Chevrolet Nova II came back in 1985 as a front wheel drive subcompact vehicle. This came with a notable performance under 1.6L 115 HP engine and 3-4 speed automatic or 5-speed manual transmission. This simple yet muscular small drive called Nova hatchback looks sophisticated with its clean boxy style. If you will take a closer look at it, you will find it related to the popular Toyota Sprinter and Toyota Corolla. Apparently, Chevrolet is great item for vintage car collectors today. Aside from the attractive old-appeal, Nova II has yet many features to show off. Chevrolet Nova II will never let you feel out modeled but instead will give you a feeling of sophistication. Old models like this may look outrageous in some way but no one can argue about its trendy and attractive appeal. Nova II can be customized if you would prefer to as you can find large variety of add-ons that can be installed using simple procedures. The installation of several Nova II accessories is easy using basic tools. But to make sure that perfect output is achieved or if you are not so familiar with how these can be installed, you should look for a qualified technician or mechanic to do the installation.
