GMC K35/K3500 Pickup Headlights: Find Your Replacement K35/K3500 Pickup Headlight Assembly

Large-sized trucks are known for their heavy-duty performance. This is one fact that cannot be denied in the industry and this is the reason why large-sized trucks are requested by those families and persons who may want toughness and reliability in every vehicle. A vehicle that made the mark and continues to serve the vehicle-buying public is the K35/K3500 pick-up.

This vehicle from Chevy isn’t a new offering of the automaker for the discerning market; rather this vehicle has been in the market for a very long time. The K3500 pick-up of today is based on the heavy-duty trucks of Chevrolet that was marketed from 1988 until 2000. And the K3500 of those years is based on an older version of the truck that dates back to the 1930s. The ancestor of the K3500 pick-up of today is actually a vehicle that adopted the design of the commercial panel truck. But the rub is that not all of the designs on the commercial panel truck was used rather some newer designs were used on the old vehicle. The Chevy vehicles officially adopted the K and the C nomenclature in the 1960s.

The 1500 version of the vehicle was the half-ton version, the 2500 label was reserved for the quarter panel version and the K3500 pick-up simply means that the vehicle was the one ton version of the vehicle. The new version of the K3500 is considered as the op player when it comes to hauling job. In fact this is considered as the go-to vehicle when it comes to towing applications and when hauling tough and huge loads in the country. The newer version of the vehicle assumed another name aside from the usual K name, and that name is Silverado. The all-new 3500 Silverado may have assumed a better interior and a slight upgrade were made on the exterior of the vehicle, the enthusiasts and the truck lovers still know this vehicle as their old and reliable K3500; a vehicle of tried and tested performance and towing capabilities. That tried and tested performance and its great towing roles are backed by the tested 6 liter and the V8 engine that has the capacity to produce 300 horsepower. Options are offered for the enthusiasts and these are the 8.1 liter V8 gasoline power producer and the 6.6 liter and a turbo-diesel engine. The first option has the capacity to produce 340 horsepower and the second option can produce as much as 300 horsepower.

The diesel version of the engine was upgraded for 2006 and this engine is known for better power with less emissions. The K3500 is a tough one on the road, and its toughness is tempered by the cool use of better interior materials. This means that aside from the tried and tested performance of the truck, the vehicle also delivers convenience. If the family or the enthusiast is on the lookout for a vehicle that fuses performance and convenience, then there is this one vehicle that matches that need- the K3500.
