Isuzu Hombre Headlights: Find Your Replacement Hombre Headlight Assembly
The Hombre Introduced in 1996, the Isuzu Hombre is a compact pickup truck made by Isuzu. The car was moderately successful but the slowing sales of the truck led to the discontinuation of the truck by year 2000. The Isuzu Hombre was the replacement of the Isuzu Pick Up. The truck is actually a rebadged version of the Chevrolet S-10 which is also similar to the GMC Sonoma. However, unlike the Chevrolet S-10 and the GMC Sonoma, the Isuzu Hombre was not offered with a large number of optional features. The feature list of the Isuzu Hombre was quite modest. The Isuzu Hombre received the Spacecab extended cab during its later models. The Isuzu Hombre performed quite well. The pickup truck had adequate power for its purposes and handling for the pickup truck was also quite acceptable. Although not as well appointed as the similar S-10 and Sonoma, the Isuzu Hombre did offer similar performance at a lower price. This made the Isuzu Hombre an attractive choice for buyers on a budget. However, a larger portion of the market preferred the more upscale offerings of GMC and Chevrolet as well as the offerings of other competitors and the Isuzu Hombre experienced very low sales especially during the later years. Thus, it was eventually discontinued in 2000. To date, the Isuzu Hombre is one of the rarest pickup trucks in the United States. Similar to the Sonoma and the GMC, the major differentiating feature of the Isuzu Hombre is its front sheet metal. The Isuzu Hombre also had fewer features than the other two cars but these were not readily visible on the outside. The last version of the Isuzu Hombre was the 2000 model. The 2000 model of the Isuzu Hombre was available with either a 4 cylinder 2.2 litre engine or a 4.3 litre V6 GM engine. Automatic and Manual transmission was available for the 2000 Isuzu Hombre. The truck was also available in either 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive. The car was also available with either a regular cab or an extended cab using a Space cab. Standard features of the Isuzu Hombre includes heavy duty suspension for the 2 wheel drive models, anti-lock breaks and the 4 wheel drive models had rear disc brakes. The Hombre could accelerate quite well even with the non V6 engine as long as it had the manual transmission. The automatic transmission could also accelerate well with the V6 engine. The ride for the Hombre is also quite soft and lively and the truck has a better ride when loaded. Handling for the Isuzu Hombre is also quite impressive with minimal body lean and responsive steering. For those who are interested in buying the Isuzu Hombre, the truck is definitely a good purchase choice.
