GMC G3500 Headlights: Find Your Replacement G3500 Headlight Assembly

There are some things that cannot be taken from Chevy and General Motors. And one of those things is the perceive quality of its trucks and vans. Though other vehicle manufacturers has laid claim for being tough producers of American trucks and vans, Chevy and General Motors are big names that cannot be simply brushed aside. The reason lies in the quality, the reliability and the toughness of their trucks and vans. And one van under the GMC stable that has made its mark in the market and helped catapult GMC into an iconic status when it comes to trucks and vans is the Chevrolet Express 3500.

This vehicle from Chevy was first seen by the public in 1996. The Express that was introduced that year was actually a replacement for the Chevy Van. The Express was available in three versions. These versions include the Chevy 1500, the Chevy 2500 and your ever-reliable Chevy 3500. The 1500 was the half ton version of the Chevy Express, the Chevy 2500 was the quarter ton version and the 3500 was the 1 ton version of the Chevy van. The 3500 was also available in an extended wheelbase version and this version of the van helped make the van become a passenger van. Thanks to the layout and the design of the extended wheelbase version van, the van has the capability to hosts up to 15 passengers.

The Chevy 3500 was also available in two trim levels; the base trim was the LS and the luxury trim was the LT. The base trim of the van is usually purchased by fleet buyers so some of the amenities of the vehicles are just basic. Some of these amenities are the air conditioning system, the stereo as the key standard feature on the vehicle. If a buyer may want better convenience and better amenities, then the choice should be the LT version of the van. The LT version boasts of the rear air conditioning system, the full power accessories, the cruise control and the plusher seats for better riding convenience. The Chevy 3500 was updated for the 2008 version and the van now carries the standard stability control and the side curtain airbags. The power of the Chevy 3500 comes from the 6 liter V8 machine. This engine has the capability to produce around 300 horsepower and can produce as well 360 worth of lb-ft of torque. The engine of the van is paired with the four-speed automatic and the van is also equipped with the stability control.

As it has always been the case, the G3500 and all other Chevy vehicles have the capability to meet the demands of the drivers and any tough road applications. The 3500 Express as a complete package boasts good driving dynamics and fused that with modern styling. In the end thanks to these many standards on the van and the technologies that are incorporated on the van, it is the ordinary van buyer who gets the best end of the deal.
