Nonetheless, a plus still lies on the payload capacity of up to 1,200 pounds when equipped with a six-cylinder engine, or 1,100 pounds with V-8 power. The Standard-model trim comprises the bright moldings that highlighted the pickup box, tailgate, rear roof line, and rear window. The unique style plus the bat-wing design on the rear end of the vehicle are two things that motivate most enthusiasts to learn more and to own a Chevrolet El Camino.
