Mercedes E-430 Headlights: Find Your Replacement E-430 Headlight Assembly

Upon the employment of the W124 chassis in 1984 to the executive-size car line-up of the much revered Mercedes-Benz, the entire lineup has come to be known as the E-class although its predecessors dates back to the 19th century. Over the years, those who have the means of buying luxurious items to compliment their high standard of living have favored these executive-sized sedans. But Mercedes-Benz did not simply acquire such admiration without having proven that it indeed produces top of the class quality vehicles. One good example of Mercedes-Benz's excellence in producing superb vehicle is the Mercedes-Benz E430.

Introduced in 1998 based on the all-new W210 chassis, the E430 replaced the Mercedes E420. The E420 was actually released in 1994 upon the introduction of the W124 chassis. With the W210 body configuration, it was equipped with a 4.3L V8 engine that generated 275hp with 295 ft-lb of torque and 3,000 to 4,000 rpm. Its high speed V8 engine is coupled with a 5-speed automatic transmission. It has a quick yet amazingly smooth acceleration that is evidently felt upon hitting the accelerator. But what's more amazing is that despite its already amazing performance record, it still exhibited efficient fuel economy, which could be attributed to its transmission. The E430 sedan had EPA fuel economy ratings of 19 mpg for city driving and 26 mpg for highway rolls. With remarkable speed and phenomenal suspension and braking system, this sedan is one great travel companion. You don't have to worry about the discomfort of driving through winding roads because you simply won't ever experience being jerked from left to right on this incredible sedan. Upon its release, the E430 sedan instantly became a success earning the designation as Mercedes-Benz's most powerful sedan.

However, by 1999 the alluring E55 AMG was released and this eventually stole the limelight from the E430. The E55 has to attribute its immediate popularity to the AMG configurations it is blessed with. But no matter, the E430 still holds as the 2nd most powerful sedan in the E-class lineup. And besides its remarkable driving comfort, the interior is also packed with first class plush design and materials as well as a comfortable seating capacity for five passengers. In 2000, the Touch Shift system was introduced in the E-class lineup. This configuration features a manual-shifting scheme to the standard 5-speed automatic transmission gearbox. Standard features included power seats, mirrors, windows and locks, adjustable steering wheels that can be done automatically, top of the line sound system, first-aid kit. And like all other Mercedes-Benz, the E430 sedan is also equipped with high end safety features that included door-mounted side airbags, a brake Assist system as well as a BabySmart system that decreases the impact once the airbags inflate.

The best thing about this sedan by far, aside from its safety features, is its fuel economy for highway driving, thus making it an ideal ride for long trips. However, due to traffic and frequent stopping, its 26 mpg could significantly drop to an average of 19 mpg and probably lower. But don't let that deter you from checking out this sedan. It has an ample exterior, interior, and mechanical charm that will definitely astound you.
