Dodge Aries Headlights: Find Your Replacement Aries Headlight Assembly

Compact vehicles were very important in the modernization of the industry and provide a better mobility to its clients. Among its target market are the young and professionals. It is also made to realize the female dream to get their hands on steering wheels. The Dodge Aries is among the models that embody versatility that makes it popular either in the men or women drivers and car enthusiasts in that early years. Aries, along with its twin Plymouth Reliant, became best sellers in less the time after its debut in 1981. This success has saved the Chrysler from its expected bankruptcy.

The Dodge Aries is based from the Chrysler K platform that is why it is known even to the most uninformed car enthusiasts as the ‘K cars’. This follows the intention of the automaker because in its rear, the badge ‘Aries K’ or ‘Reliant K’ is prominently embedded. All of its 2-door coupe, 4-door sedan, and 4-door station wagon that are available in three different trims: base, Custom, and Special Edition (SE) wore this rear badge, marking the importance of the K platform. All were also available in FF layout that its consumers loved and shoot its sales high (150,000 in 1981) than any of its siblings.

The high sales and road performance of the Dodge Aries was not an accident but was fruit of the undying research and continuous engineering on it and its features. It features choices of engine: the 2.2 L K14, the 2.5 L K14, and the 2.6 L Mitsubishi G54B I4 “Silent Shaft”. It also have the same numerous choices of transmissions like the 4-speed manual, 5-speed manual, 3-speed A413 automatic, and 3-speed A 470 automatic. This K car houses 6 passengers in its 2 bench seat, column shifter arrangement known for most American buyers.

Through its early years, the Dodge Aries Custom trim line in its coupe and sedan editions was dropped. That was in 1983 and in 1985; Aries received a major front end makeover. It featured new ‘crosshair’ grille on the front and on the rear was new five-section taillights. In that same year, a new sibling Luxury Edition (LE) was added to the lineup that also replaced the Custom trim that was under the wagon first. The eight years of Aries in the lineup of Dodge models have made a significant 999,999 production, a real topnotch for its class in its history.
